STF has taken over security of counting stations says senior DIG
The STF has taken over security of vote counting stations.
Senior DIG in charge of 2015 Presidential Election related activities Gamini Navaratne says that the security of counting stations have been handed over to the Special Task Force. Accordingly, 4529 STF officers have been deployed at 1412 counting stations.
The Senior DIG has informed the public to call in on 0112391301 to report election related violations and violence.
